This is all personal preferance. What do you want from your truck? But you most certainly can have both with a diesel. But personally for me anything ove a 3" lift and 35's is useless for me. But big lifts look sweet, just don't work for my application.

I wanna have both can a truck with 37's and 20's make good power to the ground?

01quadcab 03-24-2009 08:06 PM

yes you can make big power to the ground.

cumminsCrazy 03-24-2009 08:10 PM

okay i just want the best of both worlds with this truck

there are some fast lifted trucks out there...and just cause you're big doesnt mean you wont make mad power...youll just be slower when trying to use it...i personally think stock rake on the 4x4's looks wicked...that's how i keep mine:U: but 6" on 37's is legit too...just what you're into

thanks yall i would like to have stock but i got it lifted so i guess i cant complain about the deal i got:c:

For me stock height and factory tire size, either that or I need to lift the 36ft Fifth wheel. :ph:

y anything over a 4" lift and 35's dont do to well towing on a secound gen. need a drop stinger and by then you loose you GVW on the hitch

These diesels will do anything you want them to do but the issue that comes into play is safety. For every inch up you go the safety factor for pulling or speed goes down. This is just a fact no matter how you look at it. You just have to decide where that happy medium is for what you use the truck for.
