cool stuff about our truck

i wasn't sure where to put this so i put it here. move it if need be...

my mom has 98 2500 quad cab short bed red sport. What is weird is the truck was built in 11-97, has badges on the doors that say RAM2500 with CUMMINS TURBO DIESEL under it. BUT...it is a factory 24-valve 5speed. my dads truck, a 98 24-valve 3500 was built in April, and has Cummins 24-valve turbo diesel on the door.

If i was informed correctly, the 24 valve was put in to production on Jan 15 of 1998. From what we have been told, this truck is 1 of 7 trucks built as a demo truck. we did a car fax report and for the first 6-8 months it was titled to Chrysler....

just wanted to see what everyone thought about it and see if we are correct...

Wow that truck was a Badge away from being reffered to as a "Wholly Grail" truck .... 98 (Some say 98.5) 12V SB QC Or basicly a 4 functional door, new interior truck with a FACTORY 12V

Bring it back and say it took you guys this long to figure out that they put the wrong engine in it by throwing a fit in the dealership :madd: :madd:

yea we tried keeping it as factory as possible, but we had to do some major mods... Mach IV 150hp injectors, edge drag comp, HX-40, and dual 6 inch stacks with a southbend con fe. 515hp 1050 ft lb of torque.

The real cool part we bought it from a farm :tttt:. It was always parked in a heated garage(heated floors), and it was there spair truck, and when they used it, they put towels all over the floor and seats so the cow poop smell wouldnt get on the upholstery. we bought it with 114,000 on it.

I sure am glad we found it!!!
