problem with fog lights
2 weeks ago i was on my way home from vixens.. (gentlemans club) and i notice my foglights shut off. yesterday i checked fuses, wires to fog lights and bulbs. everything looks good but no fog lights... any one got any ideas?

Possibly the headlight switch itself, they are known to be problematic since they run VERY hot. Could be a loose wire off the switch as well. You should be able to trouble shoot the switch with a multi meter. Pop it out and see what you can see.

That would be a great place to start, from there I would go out to the power distribution center and check.

i have the same problem , ill look into it and get back to you in a week or so

i'm sure it's the actual switch. mine is!

Fuses? Common check...
Relays? Swap relays with something else. I've seen them fail too. Bulbs? I've actually lost 2 bulbs at the same time really rare but it does happen... Switch good? Can be tested at the relay to see if the signal is present. |
i would check bulbs, had a 2 gen dakota and for whatever reason there must have been a short or something and blew both bulbs at the same time. i racked my brain tryin to figure it out. then my wife came out and asked if i tried the bulbs, i laughed, then :ph: cause she was right......
