hey guys what is a smoke switch and is it use full, and if so does anyone have instruction to install one, i have a edge comp box 1999 5 speed standard

 

I tried it just made my truck run bad and throw an engine light not worth it IMO

 

works ok on some trucks, causes trouble on others, imho, NOT worth it.

 

you cant run a smoker switch on a truck with stock exhaust. far too much restriction. did you follow the youtube guys instructions? because it shouldnt be throwing codes. all it does is fool you computer in thinking its at full boost so it just maxes out the fuel pump.

 

imo bad idea i did it and it threw and under boost code. if you want smoke build it for smoke. i was warned about it when i did it and didnt listen. guess some just have to learn the hard way .

 

A 2000 tune adrenaline or a drag comp on 5x5 will black out a highway till the turbo builds boost. I can't imagine this tune with the great big injectors some run. To much fuel on the bottom kills turbo spoolup by smothering the fire.
