I hooked up an analyzer and got these error codes. I cannot find them listed on any of the websites. Anyone know what might be going on. 1999 Dodge 24v Cummins Diesel

P1Z91

 

P3232 does not come up on our list of codes:

The other ones are not proper codes - they should start with a P and the other 4 must be numbers. Like P0216 etc.

I would start by trying a different code reader.

 

okay i put it in on the actron dtc lookup
P3232 fuel air metering auxiliary emission controls
U3EZE program will not take it
P1Z91 program will not take it
seems the program I have does not use letter Z
was scanner used for a gasser and maybe codes stuck in it from then?

 

Instaed of a Z it must be a 2. I didn;t write it down.

what type of scanner did you use? i just found out on my truck last week that you cant use one from autozone or napa to run codes, the napa one gave me tons of codes that are listed anywhere, and were gasser related codes and the autozone one would not read it at all. I took the truck into dodge and let them run it, i got only one code, low voltage p1682, took it to TST, got the same code, p 1682. Mark at TST told me that the cheaper auto scan tools do not always work very well with the cummins ECMs for some reason.

 

Not valid codes that for sure they don't even hold up to the OBD II standard...
