Back off at 1400 degrees. Not in my truck Dude. I've pulled loads that most guys wouldn't dream of hookin up to and spent a lot of this trucks life off road in some pretty good slop sometimes with a trailer connected. What I'm tryin to say is I don't baby this old farm truck much but it's never seen anything over 1000 degrees on that egt guage and only seen that a few times.

This is what I meant when I said it all depends on how hard your willin to hammer your truck. And not pickin on you Gixxer, this wasn't meant to sound like a criticism of anybody just that all of us have different ideas of what normal conditions are.
