Blowing Smoke

i have an 01 6spd with 94,000 on it the only mods are intake and 5" stack that i know of. I notice that it blows smoke when i really hammer it or lug it down could it have a superchip or something stuck on it or do i have other issues

it could but unless its losing power i wouldnt worry about it, that is just unburnt fuel.

yea just didnt know if something else could be putting extra load on the motor and makin it smoke

how much smoke?? if its alot, its very possible that under pressure, your intercooler boots are releasing and causing the smoke. had that happen on mine, under full throttle that clamps couldnt hold the boots tight.

might check to make sure your air filter aint cloggedup real bad. other than that, it most likely nothing wrong imo but i could be wrong.

Could also be a loose intercooler boot - check for small holes and tighten up the boots 10 mm wrench if I remember right. Like the othes said, its not a big deal.

Some this truck is new to you? Better read up ion the importance of having a fuel pressure guage (if you havent already).

My gpa has a stock 01 and if you get on it, some smoke will show but not enough to make it really noticable.
