Lift Pump Question
Welcome to db
I would get a hick up on my old truck when my lift pump started going bad put a new one on and it went away. I also added a secondary pump in case and to up the pressure. This saved me when the stock one went again 6mo later. Definitely go with an aftermarket one like the air dog they're built to last and will probably end up prolonging the life of that pos $1200 injection pump.

yea magicman you deff need to put a fuel gauge on there. That alone will tell you alot.. i have a "99" 24 vaule cummins 4x4 and i have had the lift pump go out on me four times that I know of.....put that gauge on there and the come back and talk..cause if it is the lift pump give it enough time and your injector pump is gona go...aight....i have replaced my stock lift pump with a fass pump much better.. with the stock pump tho you should be pushing anywhere from 12pds to 14pds of fuel press. when idealing.....
