I have to agree with the guys above:U: I have had the edge comp, drag comp the powermax3 from tst, smarty, The adrenaline is my favorite especially now that I have the pulse to go with it

That is what i was leanin towards. I think that is what I will get.

01quadcab 12-13-2008 12:28 PM

the problem I have with the thing is you pay all that money for it and it still doesn't monitor your fuel pressure as the edge does..

busta 12-13-2008 12:38 PM

I believe they are still working on the fuel pressure sendor.
I too would love to have a fp reading with the pulse but as nice as the adrenaline runs with my 99 I sure ain`t gonna complain and will have some patience while they work out the bugs with the sendor

If it don't have a fp monitior I will just put a gauge that does that in the truck

89silverbullet 12-19-2008 10:12 PM

air dog and then adrenaline:U:

cummins24 12-19-2008 11:15 PM

X2 :5: trust me, if you don't buy an airdog now for the Quad you'll be buying one in the future and possibly a VP44.

busta 12-19-2008 11:21 PM

they now have the fuel pressure figured out
the new boxes ya have to pay $90 extra to get it and if you had the adrenaline all ready with the fuel pressure sender ya get ripped off for $45 and have to send back the adrenaline and the wiring harness for an update :madd::madd::madd::madd::madd:

TheNatural31 12-20-2008 09:33 AM

Yep....i agree...it is pretty dumb! But they do have them ready now I ain't gonna waste my time and extra money on it since I have analogs in the truck anyway....really the only reason I got the pulse was for custom tuning and the features nothing more nothing less.......and to the OP if he is still debating go with the ADR!...:U:

juice with attitude always came with the fuel monitoring included. It alarms u when ur fp falls below an ajustable value. I have mine set @ 3psi. I still have my stock fuel pump which still provides resonable pressure. Of course, when I floor it, the chirp is heard and am smart enough to make sure the fp stays above 3psi. by eazing off of the fuel pedal! I just dont have the money 2 get a fass @ the moment. To summ things up, I dont have 2 constantly look @ my fp but the juice/attitude lets me know with a chirp when I have 2 eaze-off. Happy holidays everyone

i said to add a FASS or air dog for insurance and to make sure that you always have a SYEADY and CLEAN stream of fuel to the cylinder. the stock lift pump is crude. adrenaline will put you back in your seat :U::5:

Sounds like you need a lift pump. You should NEVER let your fuel pressure drop below 5psi. We have Airdog 150's for $499 until the end of the month. If you dont have the money for an Airdog you need to atleast a new Carter Pump with a Vulcan Big Line Kit.

dieselartist 12-22-2008 09:30 AM

3psi?! That's awful low!

And I recommend the Adrenaline. I have the XZT+, but I got to drive a truck with the Adrenaline in it (and lots of other goodies), and the throttle response is so much better :U: And you can smoke like a freight train down the track :w2:
