How Do You Get The Dash Out Of The Way..

I've got a '99 and trying to replace the heater core, AC evaporator and accumulator. So far, the stuff I've found on the net doesn't work for me. I'm in Colorado Springs, Colorado; my shop manual and all the TDR magazines are in Memphis. HELP!

Anybody got a link to a good R&R procedure on the net?

im not positive, but you have to remove the steering column cover, glove box, dash bezel, and then crawl under it and un screw the dash, it should then come out

I wish it was that easy!

:argh:

I found this thread over on DTR that has good instructions, lots of photos, and suggested variations (remove the dash completley, don't remove it but tie it back, and don't tie it back).

Then BNBROWN (on TDR) sent me a couple of PDF articles the gives the detailed technical stuff. THANKS Ben!

After reading through all that, I decided I better wait until I get home to do this job.

It ain't hard. I replaced the whole dash on my 96 3 years ago. It took me about 5 hours and I was REALLY taking my time. You ought to be able to knock this out in less time than that.
