popping/binding noise.

So my dad has a 99 24 valve 5spd 4wd 3/4 ton. when he turns either way there is a popping/binding noise seems to be underneath of the cab. it does it in 2wd and 4wd. just wondering if anyone else has experienced this problem. Also it doesnt do it all the time but seems to be getting worse.

loose tackbar nut will cause that.

I think I found what was wrong. I believe it is a stabilizer arm of some kind.

Your image didn't post, so was it the track bar (goes from frame to axle to stop side to side movement, keeping your front tires tracking).

We make an upgrade for that bar that gets rid of the ball joint at the top and gives you an adjustable bar so if you leveled your truck you can recenter the wheels. Also we sell the bushing separately so you don't have to keep re buying the bar.

Well I finally found a diagram turns out it is the stabilizer bar link. It popped off and is no longer together.
