Hey I'm new to the forum here and I'm looking for some help. (Sorry for the long post ) I have a 1999 ram 3500 drw and it's been down for almost a month. Nobody can seem to figure this out. A few weeks ago I was driving at highway speeds when the trans randomly kicked out of lockup, i slowed down to a stop and then it would not move. I shut the truck off and restarted it then it had manual first gear I changed the fluids and filters and that solved that problem. But it still didn't have lockup, I then went back in and replaced the o/d lockup solenoids with mopar parts and that didn't solve it the truck then started to shift erratically and a code came up for the governor pressure solenoid. So it was swapped out and it shifts normally again. But still no lockup and the 2-3 3-4 shifts are delayed and it has now lost reverse This transmission was rebuilt about 3 months ago and worked flawlessly up untill this first issue I even tried installing a manual lock up switch and it doesn't work does anyone have any insight ? Thanks !

 

I had this problem my tranny got restricted with god knows what it's been so long ...keep us updated and check the wiring diagrams that's pretty much all you can do at this point

 

Since it is so fresh on the rebuild I would take it back to who rebuilt it. Is it throwing any codes?
