Do u no what kinda fuel psi it has when it's dieing

If you let off the pedal quickly after a full throttle run you will push air into the injectors causing it to vapor lock. You will have to bleed the air out of the injectors. Next time don't let off so quickly and you wont have that issue.

How many miles have you put on your SB? I wouldn't be doing any high speed running till the 500 mile break in period is up.

I'm 16 at idle 15 running and 14 at full throttle. Ghost man I think the vapor lock is exactly it I had to bleed the lines last time .other than not letting off so fast could there be anything else to fix to stop this from happening ? And I did the 500 miles of hell with the sb

I feel your pain on the break in. I went from 47re to the sb3250. Big change. Other than letting off slowly there is nothing I know or have heard.

Where is the vacuum pump located and what is its function also my 2002 ram 24 valve cummins is leaking oil from a hose that hungs down at the front right of engine driver side what can that be or can that be fix? :jump:

Bois1 12-10-2015 10:40 PM

Well Jose the roofer the vacuum pump is on the right front of the motor conected to the power steering pump .it's job is to make vacuum for the motor . The tube that is leaking oil is your breather tube either you put a catch can in or splice in to the tube and run it back so it dont soak the motor down . And last but not least this thread is about air in the fuel lines .
