Big Electrical Issues.
 
First off, let me start by saying I'm not a electrical guy by any means.

The truck is a 02, 6 speed, quad cab, 4x4 with 228k miles.

Everything all began about a week ago, of course the issues decided to start 100 miles from my house in the POURING rain.
Issues:
1. Windshield wipers are not working.
2. Cab lights, dash lights, front parking lights and rear running lights are not working

I had been using my wipers all day and while driving I decided to turn the speed up on them a little bit. From that point they randomly quit working, just out of the blue. I pulled into the nearest auto parts store and used a test light to find I had power at the fuse. I pulled the switch and motor (all of course in a hell of a storm http://www.cumminsforum.com/forum/im...s/banghead.gif) to find that they were good (plug and test with new parts at the store) I'm clueless to what the issue could be now...

As far as the lights are concerned, I believe that they quit working at the same time as the wipers. My blinkers front and rear and brake lights are still operational. However, the green indicator that would usually light up when I turn my fog lights ON stays on when I turn my headlights and turns OFF when I turn on my fog lights (it 'flip-flopped' if you will..)

I'm just getting fed up with this and need to get it fixed before I deploy.

First check the fuse in the Power distribution center under the hood should be fuse G a 15amp or some fuse F a 20 amp for quad headlights.
sorry If this seems lame just want to be sure to start with the easy stuff.
If you have power at the fuse and its not blown the symptoms you have lead toward a headlight switch next to check for power. The headlight switch is the central power distribution for the cab, instrument,parking,headlamps,and fog lamps.

sorry If this seems lame just want to be sure to start with the easy stuff.

I'll check fuse under the hood after work. I forgot to mention that I hear the relay click everytime the wipers are supposed to cycle. Idk if that has any connection to it not being a ground issue for the wipers or???

I don't see any grounds that both of them share but still looking.

Wait, so you are saying the lights and wipers don't share the same ground?

Truck does not have daytime running lights

No shared grounds but they get their power from the same PDC.
The turn signals are powered through the hazard switch so that's why they still work.
But the item that runs all the lights that you have inoperative is the headlight switch assembly. And it gets its power from PDC.

Great info to have in the diagnosis of my problems. Being a electrical novice, what did you mean by pdc?
