Blowing blue smoke like a boss.

Hello everyone im new to this site.
I have a few problems with my truck i was hopeing for some advice on....
1999 24valve Stock (only intake and exhaust) 275k but motor was completely rebuilt about 35k ago. I purchased the truck about a year ago and from the day i got it on start up it puffed a bit of blue smoke. The puff has turned into Billowing blue smoke. It happens at start up, then when i take off it billows blue smoke for say 30 seconds and clears. At steady pedal looks to be no smoke but as soon as i give her some throttle it smokes bad. The worst is after driving for a whille and stopping at a red light...when i take off you can barley see the cars behind although within about 30 seconds it clears. I also noticed oil smell and small amount of smoke form under hood. When i looked it was coming from around the turbo. Im assumng the turbo is shot. It was replaced when the motor was done but its not a holeset and the motor builder said they guy bought an ebay special.
Any help in diagnosing the turbo to be the issue for sure would be much appreciated.
Eric

LOL its like a smoke machine maybe you could hire on with the city for mosquito contol.
Just kiding :tttt: Maybe its a turbo seal blown out leaking. Did the turbo get replaced at the time of the rebuild?
Also could be a machining defect by the machine shop that built the engine.
