This is the 3rd lift pump.Took tank out 2 times, so confused. Pressure is 18-20 then slowly starts dropping off, have edge juice read out so I can see pressure .New airdog rapture only worked 5 minutes, then pressure loss.

Hello and welcome to diesel bombers:hellox:
Somethings to check:
Is the draw straw in the tank miter cut to about a 1/2" from the bottom of the tank ?
Is the return fuel line going to the vent hose plumbed?
Can you hear flow going through when you put your ear to the fuel filler neck?
What type of gauges do you have? and is the pressure transducer or gauge the problem? verify the pressure is really dropping with a wet gauge plumbed in to the air dog.
Double check where the transducer is attached I used a T to plumb into the Airdog pressure line.
Hope this helps let us know what you find :rocking:

Sell the airdog and get a fass. Airdog's quality has been very bad lately. That should fix your problem.

Thanks for replys back. My guts are telling me the airdog is the problem, even though its the 3 rd one.Ghostman ,.... it is reassuring to hear you say that also. Are you telling me this from personal experience ..... or personal preference. Don't want to keep throwing hundreds at this dodge. It use to have a fass (little one)but worked perfect. The mechanic replaced it , thinking it was problem when my fuel sending unit broke. 1st airdog raptue lasted 5000 miles or so ,next one 2500 next one 5 miles. Hum? strange huh. Luv to learn things. ACJ ,,,,,, thanksguys

I am telling you from what I have seen recently across diesel forums that I have participated in. I am sure if you google around to some other forums you will read the same.

My experience with Airdog has been good but if Ghostman is saying lately there is some quality issues I would listen up.
Here is a pic of my install from a few years back dont know if it will help but mine is still going strong.

The old air dog stuff is good. But when they outsourced the production quality went down.

Jet A Fuel,,, nice work, thanks for pics and your time . Gives me a good place to start. GhOstman,,, thanks for info,,, now I'M looking for a FASS 150 and fuel line kit and filter delete,,, right? I am all ears . Anyone got any ideas where to start. If this works I would like to upgrade injectors for power ( 50-75) hp and fuel economy. I have edgejuice attitude, 4" exhaust, ATS air box, new heavy duty tranny. What is the perfect part number for injector, I found a place where they flow match. Need # to see if they have them. THANK YOU,,,THANK YOU!!! acj

Yes at least a 150 Pump Fass is best.
If you look at the picture i sent of the stock filter housing on the side of the block you can take the lines off and plug the holes with pipe plugs this leaves the water in fuel sensor hooked to the harness still. But if you want to just remove it completely as it will be bypassed anyway.
Your Fass wiring harness will tap into the signal wire at the old lift pump wiring harness and uses a new heavy gauge wire to the battery because the fass and airdog pumps require more amperage. Just holler if you need help.
Check with Tony at MightyDiesel.com or PM diesel pap on here about the injectors he can recommend something.
Also there is a price quote thread that the vendors here check regularly.
