VP44 and Vacuum pump removal at same time ok?

Replacing a VP44 and am planning on also pulling the vacuum pump/power steering pump while the VP44 is out so it's easier to work on.
Any issues with the IP gear falling down if I take out the vacuum pump gear underneath it? Is there something else keeping that gear in place?
I haven't been in the front cover in awhile.
Thanks in advance.

To answer my own question, YES it is okay to remove both at the same time. The IP gear will not fall out when the vacuum pump gear is removed beneath it.
But no one cares so.....

Some people care! Those who look at this post that did not comment, most likely did not know, now they do. Thank you for doing a favor for the forum, and sorry for not seeing it!

Just currious, What's holding that IP gear in place, if vacuum gear is removed, it's been a while since I've been in there

I believe the IP gear is pressed on.

That's correct but when I did mine you have to pop the ip gear off from the front of gear case. The ip gear stays in the gear case and ip pump comes off
