will a crazy carls p pump a.p.p.s. kit work on a 12 valve in a 99 ram
 

i'm putting a 97 12 valve in my 99 2500 and the big stumper for me is getting the throttle to work.

I see lots of guys are doing the p pump conversion to there 24 valves and they use this crazy carls a.p.p.s. kit to make the conversion work with the 24 valves original electronic set up.

so my question is this, the engine blocks are the same, so once I put the 12 valve in the p pump should be sitting exactly where it would be if were to have done the conversion to my 24 valve engine right? and if that is in fact the case, then would I not simply be able to hook the a.p.p.s. kit to the pump same as if I had done the conversion? and then voila problem solved?

side note, I have the wiring harness for the 12 valve so i'm thinking that the transmission and the engine should be plug and play being as 97 and 99 have the same tranny no?
