vavle springs?

Has anyone messed with their stock valve springs? As in tightening them over stock .010/.020? How tight can I go before I get in the danger zone? Poor farm kid on a budget thank you

i would honestly wait and buy a set of springs

100 HP nozzles 100 pump fass Platinum 150 smarty set on 5 stock turbo on 36psi really I wanna just see if tightening them down a lil will help if I do this and it dosnt work I will buy a set but I just thought if I could get a lil feed back cuz hearing it from others always helps iv heard of common rail guys doing it

I mean, if you could really explain how to tighten valve springs i am all ears, i mean i know how it can be done but i am not sure if people sell the parts that would be needed to do the job unless you plan on throwing 50+psi to it, or turning over 3k valve springs are not needed

lol wut?

Are you trying to improve the holding pressure of your springs?

Setting your valve lash tighter than stock is not going to accomplish that. all that will accomplish is holding your valves open.

However you can get 115# valve springs for your truck for much cheaper than you might think...
