P pump 24 valve to 700hp
 

New to diesels. Have a 24 valve that want to put in old 40's truck. With the right suspension to make it hook up. What is a good recipe for upgrades to hit 650-700 rwhp. Truck will never tow but would like to cruise it around town often. Will be running a auto Trans. Searched lots of old stuff but most threads are for daily drivers that also tow. Mentioning p pump because engine is out of school bus so not sure if any chips or tuners will work with no ob11 port.

6x.013 SAC injectors and a decent Ppump with a fuel plate, 5k gsk, about 22* timing and may or may not need to have the pump flow benched and set up for 600cc+ fuel flow.

and of course you standard supporting mods...

like head studs, push rods and valve springs, fully built billet auto trans, probably better intercooler boots and spring clamps, either a 64-66mm single turbo or 362/475 compounds for that power range.
