Fass 150

Hey guys,

Long time creeper, finally joined up. Great info here.

Fass T D07 150 G

Installed the Fass, hogged out fuel module, removed intank pump, and installed draw straw into module
hooked up return line from pump to small fitting on module, not enough flow...edge reads 30 psi at the Vp. Suckage. Splice into fuel filler vent hose, now basket gets sucked dry at half tank.

-Now do i jam fitting in tank and run return from pump to basket...will i still be screwed with 1/8 tank issues? (better than half tank I suppose)

-Do I drill holes into the basket and have 1/8 tank issues

-Or do i just buy the new and improved module for $300+ and be done with this...will this work properly?? will the return port allow enough flow...for sure lol

I believe this is cause of the style of pump i chose...gerator pump and no regulator(that im aware of anyway)

I would really like to have use of ALL of my fuel...trying to avoid fuel tank sump.. not that i offroad...having that hanging down there makes me uneasy i guess.

appreciate the input

DrawStraw™ 5

This is what I have in mine, and I have no high pressure issues. I can run the tank right down to fumes, not 1/4 or 1/8 tank issues.

If you want to try something else, I have an idea. Continue to run the hose from the FASS to the port on the fuel module of the tank. Before the module, put a Tee fitting in and run another hose to the fuel fill hose adapter. Fuel should continue to flow into the basket, but excess should go to the adapter.

That looks like the answer

Thanks for the link, will probably give that a try.
