99 cummins 5 speed hard to get into gear
my trucks hard to get into gear after I drive it for long periods. like if I'm stopped and try to put it in 1st or 2nd or reverse I have to really jam it sometimes. it doesn't grind at all just hard to get in. any ideas? hydros?

Check your clutch fluid first if its OK I would check your throw out bearing but if it ain't making noise I bet your fluid is low

Could definitely be related to a failing master cylinder or slave. Usually the slave will leak at the bellhousing of the transmission and the master cylinder sometimes starts leaking at the floorboard inside the cab. Been through a master before and it is not too difficult to replace, just have to burp all of the air back out as there is no bleeder on our systems.
