Time to do my vaccum pump. Want to make sure i have all the parts

Default Time to do my vaccum pump. Want to make sure i have all the parts

iv gotta do my vac pump im sure that whats wrong. Symptoms are : no power steering hard brake peddle, Supper hard .oil leak and loud power stearing pump

Do i just have to re seal the vac pump or is my power steering pump also shot ?

power steering pump is shot. i would also reseal the vaccum pump while your down there. brakes and steering are both powered by the ps pump.

I got the vacuum pump/power steering reseal kit from goulds off genosgarage.com with the plastic tools. Havent had a single problem with it and they send two sets of seals just in case you make mistakes.

Ok i would think you made sure you checked to make sure you had ps fluid right and also the caps on top of these pumps are crap the seals blow out and you turn and fluid comes out check these befor going foward vacume pump only controls your heater and 4wd CAD thats all brakes are hydro asist with power steering pump ...and if you do your vacume pump google electric vacume pump conversion !!! 30$ vs 200$ just sayin

I oreder a ps pump and seal kit. I dont have time to get the gould kit.... Has any one used the cummins seal kit for the vac pump? Does it work good? I was surprised how cheap it was , only 25$

If its from cummins its going to a good kit there a little spendy but you know what your geting
