Default Need a new ECM!

Been trying to figure what's been wrong with my 99 for some time now and it turns out I need a new ecm. Was a huge hassle to figure it out, but now I'm on the hunt for one.

Can anyone suggest any places to look besides junkyards? Been scouring craigslist and some forums with no luck.

Forgot the part# is 3942336.

Thanks!

Pure Diesel Power sells them but they are expensive. I got one off of ebay for 200 and then had it reflashed for my truck for 119 through a cummins shop.

Where are you located by the way?

Sorry, didn't see your post.

I honestly have had no issues besides a check engine light. Other than that everything seems to be fine.

On another note I found someone selling an ecm with the same part number as mine. Thinking that if I get it reflashed it should work. Thoughts?

if just the cel light is on thats no need for a new ecm! put a scanner on it and see why its on. common issue with failing ecm is that your gauges will not work.

Have already run the codes. All signs pointed to the ecm and then I took it to the stealership and they confirmed it was a bad ecm.
