Hey guys, got a 24v was running the other day in the drive and she just died! Figure the lift pump took a crap. I can feel it pumping but when I took the filter out the housing was only about half full. I bumped the key and no fuel came into the housing. Then I pulled the feed line to the pump off and the can still feel the pump running but it doesn't appear to have any actual pull to it...... So the vains or diagram inside the pump are shot? Or am I missing something? I thought most these factory pump typically short out and stop working

 

When you bumped the starter could you hear the pump working at all

 

Yeah I can barely hear. I can put my hand on it and feel it better. Put a pressure gauge on it but got no reading

 

I'd say the pump is shot but that's my opinion

 

That's kinda what I was thinking. Just hope it didn't kill my vp too
