i have an 01 as well...just for my knowledge what does lock up mean...OD kicks in? mine is doing this without towing..flat hyway and at 100kpm...2800 rpm and not droping into OD...goes through all the gears good though. FYI replaced gov sens and sol., TPS and installed noise isolator from BD.
