New to the forum
Hello everyone I am new to the forum . I have a 2001 Ram 3500 4 wheel drive Dooley it has 120,000 miles on it everything stock except for the exhaust I'm running a 5 inch exhaust no muffler. I pull a 30 foot gooseneck trailer everyday around town its good but it just does not have enough ***** for the highway. I'm looking to do some up grading I have been doing some research for a while and I'm looking at upgrading the tranny first I've been looking at new torque converter and the DTT stage 3 pan off kit and also have been looking at their lift pump too I can't find any good info on that lift pump. I'm not sure what torque converter to go with and I'm not sure if I should we build the tranny or not if I don't need to I didn't really want to. I plan on running the edge Juice with Attitude box some injector tips and maybe eventually a turbo upgrade I just want to set the check up to be a reliable towing monster just looking for some input thanks

Their lift pump is a PITA to install from what I've seen. not a very complete fuel system.
personally I would go with a FASS 95 or FASS 150 titanium with the dual filters.
and how much more power do you want? Just a mild boost, or more of a moderate boost?
I'm thinking for towing your best option for better towing power while keeping the power smooth would probably be something like an edge ez or other mild timing box with some DFI 7x.010 SAC injectors (~150hp) and a he351cw (non VGT) or he351ve (VGT) + fleece controller

The Fass 150 titanium is my first choice. Just thought the DTT lift pump looked HD but I really couldn't find any reviews for it.
I have 150hp tips.
I pull a lot of weight so I'm looking for a good bit of power.
Tranny wise I was looking at ATS' s five star TC just not sure if that's the best choice. I was also look at DTT's pan off kit. I'm just not sure if I need to do more to the tranny or not.
The turbo will be the last thing I do.

torque converter and valve body will go a long ways with the tranny as long as you aren't doing any boosted launches or shifting under TC lockup.
If you are just doing nozzles, be sure to have the injectors pop tested and calibrated for 300 bar pop pressures or the truck will not run as well as it should.

honestly I have no personal experience with automatics as I have a 6-spd manual, but I have heard good things about revmax, DTT (for trans stuff), suncoast, and goerend.
ATS seems hit and miss from what I have seen...
again no personal experience with automatics as I drive a 6-spd manual.
