Tow Hooks

Has anyone put front tow hooks on on their truck? Was this a factory option for this era because I've never seen one. Just wondering because I have some hooks from a chev I was going to install but wanted some more info/ideas before I start making brackets

they were an option that not many went for...

was never standard equipment.

I have a set of tow hooks... i have no use for them... i have a full bumper replacement and had to take them off

Hmmm...I could probably think of a use for them. You know for pulling all those other people out of the snowbank.

Dont you think you cant rip them suckers off!!! They pull off fairly easy!

yeah I wouldn't trust a tow hook for pullin someone out of the ditch...they are mostly a strap down point..

now my class 5 hitch on the other hand...that can yank some cars/trucks out of the ditch.
