boost question
I put a mechanical gauge on today and when my boost gets to 30+ the needle starts to vibrate. Is that a leak somewhere or something to do with the boost tube?
---AutoMerged DoublePost--- Also forgot to mention its an autometer and reads about 2-3 lbs higher then edge programmer. |
make sure all your tube fittings are snug...but if the gauge is vibrating, might just be a defective gauge...
both of my isspro boost gauges work without any needle vibration or noise. nice and smooth sweeps. both mechanical as well... one is a 60psi reading from my charge pipe between the primary and secondary, and the other is a 100psi gauge reading from the intake valley in the head. |
It seems to be all snug, gonna pull it apart this weekend and go over everything again. I told myself to get an isspro and i didnt.

autometer typically makes good gauges, but like all mass production of products, defects can slip through sometimes. That is what warranty is for :tu:
