so you want twins you can tow with on a budget?

forget bd twins...

crazy carls twin plumbing with with your choice of several turbos...

he351cw over S472 would do nicely with your injectors, or a 57/65/12 over S472, or swap the turbine housing on your 62/65 for a 12cm^2 housing rather than a 14cm^2 housing... then throw a 472 under it, or a 475 under it with some DFI 7x.012 injectors...make a nice towing setup.

won't cost near as much as a set of super b twins

I run a super b single (57/65/14) over a larger S475 (75/96/1.32AR) with custom 6x.013 injectors. she'll tow like a dream but might be a bit on the smokey side starting from a stop...

ya ive been looking around and I'm in a bit elevation anywhere from 900 - 4500 so my single gets hot with the trailer (8k roughly). heard better views with a 57 over my 62 so i'm just undecided you know. trying to save a bit of money too

twins will work well even at altitude. your 62 would be lazy with it's current turbine housing, however if you swapped for a tighter exhaust housing like I mentioned, it would focus more exhaust energy against the turbine wheel causing it to spool harder and faster. that said it would work well with a 472 or 475 below it running the 1.10AR housing on those for faster spool.

avoid the ht3b as it will give no room to grow in the future...

I would much rather have a S400 bottom turbo as if you decide to go bigger in the future, or change top turbos, most S300 and S400 turbos with work with the S300/S400 plumbing. so you can keep the same plumbing and swap turbos, however with the ht3b plumbing you are limited to only a ht3b for your bottom turbo since it is a reverse spin turbo..also not as efficient as a S400.

carls plumbing will cost about 1200, + cost of S472 would be around 750.. (talk to jacob at DAP and he might be able to get you a better deal on it)

s400 is more efficient too, only about $100 more than an ht3b.

ya I decided to go with crazy carls plumbing, a super b and a s472 when my second trailer sells

---AutoMerged DoublePost---

or if someone wants my phatshaft I can sell/trade that now for a super b and get the rest when the trailer goes

I would almost trade you...but I'm lazy.

and I would want a 12cm^2 housing on the 62...

I'm telling you if you get a 12cm^2 housing on that 62 it will make a great top turbo and spool just as fast as a super b single (which has a 14cm^2 housing) but it will outflow it on the compressor side. turbine side won't get much hotter cause it will just dump the excess drive pressure into the S400 anyway....

make sure you get the 1.10AR housing on that 472...

you want a 72/83/1.10AR or a 75/83/1.10AR

looks like carl dropped his prices a bit 725 for either turbo...
