Air in lines or bad lift pump?
#11
Yeah I think Im going to park it for a while and get the tank drained. I got the parts in to do a remote fuel filter so I want to make sure the tank is clean before I do that. May just go ahead and buy a bigger pump while im at it.

I tried the adjustment on the Raptor but it actually dropped the pressure to 12psi. How do I go about adjusting the spring?

you are going to kill that injection pump...
sounds like you have a bunch of crap in your tank...run that thing till its just about bone dry and drop your tank and clean it out...then hang it back up and fill it up with diesel.
change your fuel filter again and put a better lift pump on there, or stretch the spring a bit.
you want no less than 10PSI at ALL TIMES!!! (this includes WOT)
more ideally would be 14+ PSI at all times to keep fuel constantly returning to the tank which will help cool the VP44 down. (overflow valve in vp44 opens at 13psi.)

it's a raptor pump?
if it hasn't leaked diesel past the seal into the pump yet, and it has the dumb adjuster, try turning it the other direction?
otherwise throw it away and get a FASS and never buy another product from pureflow (airdog/raptor) again... their product quality went straight down the toilet a couple years ago and their warranty replacements thus far have been just as bad...
