Steering wander

Is there anyway to make my 01 not to wander as much? I have the steering stabilizer that is connected to steering arm and bolted to frame

Check your tie rods and track bar for any play. If they are good then your steering box is wearing out.

I put new Michelins on mine, all around, and now the damn thing is suicidal. Heading into incoming traffic one minute, veering for the ditch the next. The old tires were almost slicks, these new beasts have 3/4 inch or so of rubber and the squirm definitely keeps me awake!

anybody know what rebuild on steering box costs?

get a red head or a borgeson steering box

check tie rod ends, drag link, ball joints, steering shaft, and track bar for play.

2nd gen dodges are notorious for horrible steering...

you could also upgrade to a 4th gen steering assembly and 3rd gen track bar.

Put one of these in my truck and it made a difference. I also have a borgeson steering box/shaft which I am very happy with. Also take a close look at your control arm bushings, I found one that was wasted so replaced all the lowers and that made a huge difference.
