How to lower EGT's
I have a 2001 dodge 2500 24 valve that I just recently bought
The truck has cold air intake, 150 injectors, fass 150 fuel pump, And 4" exhaust, the truck had the injectors in it when I purchased it And I'm trying to determine if they would be the cause of having high EGT, this truck pulls a trailer on a regular basis and I have to baby it on the Hills to keep EGTs under 1200, that's what I was told was a safe temperature So I'm wondering if I'd be best off swapping to stock injectors or if there is something I can do to balance them out and keep my tempertures lower. Thanks for any suggestions! |
I would upgrade to a larger turbo.
