Help Bleeding Fuel.

Went to install my fuel pressure gauge sending unit. As a try I removed the test port plug closest to the threaded bolt on top fuel filter housing. Truck started then died. I had the stainless extended line on the sending unit as well. I got no codes. I removed the sending unit and braided hose replaced plug with thread sealant. I then cycled the lift pump several times trying to prime the truck before starting. No luck. I'm afraid I've introduced air to the system. How do I properly bleed my 1998 24 valve cummins diesel? I also just received my threaded banjo bolt for the fuel pressure sending unit. Which banjo bolt on the fuel filter housing is the best for fuel pressure? I would rather not put it on the vp if at all possible. Thanks in advance for any and all help.

Loosen injector lines 1,3,&4 on the head a couple turns. Bump the starter (lift pump will run for about 25 seconds) until fuel starts dripping. Tighten the lines up while they are dripping so no air gets back in. Should start now but it may run rough for a little bit until the rest of the air is out of the other lines.
