Like the title says I wont shift till 4th till I let off a bit then it will shift:argh:. All fluids look good could it be a gov pressure solenoid, something electrical or is 4th/OD going :humm:. once I do get it in 4th I stays like normal but every time it gets out of 4th I have let off to get it back in. The truck is an 01 5.9 all stock and has 245k please any help will be great

I would start by adjusting the throttle valve to spec and checking the tps voltage.

how would I know when throttle valve is to spec?

Bands in the trans might need to adjusted. Helped mine
