No additional fueling/power from a tested Edge Comp Box

I recently put a clutch in my 2001 and then had some ground issues with the Fass 150. It was like a dead pedal, but after a while traced it to the pump... since then I got a fuel pressure gauge so I don't have the same problem. Anyways I had my comp turned down when I was breaking in the clutch and then once broke in, turned it up. Then it wasn't smoking like before and only boosting to 30psi... before it was hard to keep it from smoking and boosted to 40psi. I don't care if it smokes or not... I want the power back. I do have 100hp injectors also. I figured it was the edge comp, called in, couldn't figure out anything on the phone, sent in and got it tested. Turns out the box and wiring are fine.

So the question is, what else could be causing this? Could it be a sensor? I did clean the iat a while back because of problems with the grid heater seeming to cycle to much and it did fix that. I have 15psi of fuel pressure at idle and 12 at wot. The fuel filter is newer also, like 2 months tops. It also seems to me the truck accelerates faster now with the comp removed. Before it was like it was retarding the timing or defueling. Could it be a problem with the map? The truck isn't throwing any codes. Also the wire tap is connected correctly and has a good connection which is what I figured was the problem originally.

Maybe your pump is starting to go and when the Comp advances timing it doesn't like it???

I towed about a 4000 pound load on Friday, plus 2000 for the trailer and I definitely noticed I didn't have the comp in the truck... I didn't get it back from edge yet, so it's completely unhooked. I didn't notice a difference without a load though up til 2500rpms. And not pulling, the truck runs as good as ever now without the comp, since I rewired the fass. I really don't think its the vp44, but maybe the fass, so going to check voltage to it and replace the water seperator as I didn't do it when I replaced the filter. I guess I need to check the voltage at the wire tap too, maybe its not a good connection.

Based on driving/towing without the comp, it appears the comp was working as it should just not fueling. I'm also ruling out any sensors and such for now and going to check voltage and fuel related... definitely miss driving with full power on level 5.
