Still getting that funny throttle...

Ill be driving down the road when its cold and ill start to get that throttle I described earlier (it would be really easy to pussh to a point then it would hit like a wall, and when you went passed the "wall" the throttle would return to normal tension.)

Theres nothing wrong with the IP, it still gives me fuel when the throttle gets all funny, the only problem is shifting, it will get stuck at what ever gear it happens in. When this happens i floor it and the throttle returns to normal tension and shifts perfectly fine.

Fuel pressure: 14 at idle Hasnt seen lower then 12 at WOT or anything else.

adjusted bands 3 weeks ago now. What do you guys suspect?

it seems to do it mainly when its cold but i cant think of any other symptoms

Sounds like a transmission issue on the kick down linkage.

Do either you or somebody sell a kick down replacement? how do i go about checking this??

and thanks for the input!

its a throttle valve cable that measures throttle angle to adjust shift timing and pressure sounds like yours is binding up either on the bracket on the trans or against the body somewhere

but what causes the throttle to get all soft but i still have the same fueling as normal throttle tension. It is just very soft like nothing under my foot but when i press it, it defilently is still there:argh:

Ill check the cable, maybe my buddy hit it or something when we were doing the bands
