the vin7 HO or ETH is a 6spd with a 245HP rated engine. the injectors are actually smaller than what is in the vin6 and swapping will add about 10hp. The 028 vp44 that is in the vin7 is a stroked pump that has advanced timing and more aggressive fueling down low. The 027 pump will flow more fuel and will gain about 20hp more from a programmer/box as it does not have as much timing built in to the programming. combining the stroked 028 head and cam with the larger plungers of the 027 = hotrod vp44.

Yea... That's why the HR pumps are build with the SO parts for most of it. But use a few HO part to give that added bump. This why most would just suggest getting a SO pump and not bother because now a module will enhance a SO better than a HO.

It just couldn't fuel like the so. Ran out of fuel under 540 on fuel only and 630 on the bottle. The only thing that had changed was the dyno but you could tell it lacked the fuel.
Exact same setup with SO vp made 597 on fuel and 839 on spray. The hrvp was installed and ran after i sold the truck.
