We need some more info. What your plans for your truck? What mods do you have already? What are you looking to get out of them? MPG's, power, lower EGT's??:c:

Too keep the thread going since I now have the same question.

I'm planning on a Banks brake, 4" exhaust, Edge comp, Banks waste gate. I already have a KNN filter in the stock box. I have the FASS replacement lift pump and want to put in 100hp injectors....now the question.

I see BD and dynomite DDP injectors ranging from $300 - $700 on extreme diesels web site. What do you folks advise and definitely stay away from? Any advise on where to buy them would be nice, I can't buy the injectors from 4 wheel parts here in California.

Thanks for any feedback......

I have a stock engine with edge juice with additude and a fass titanium lift pump. Plan on putting 150 injectors. Everything else is stock. I plan on putting twins in and dual disked clutch sometime. It will still be my daily driver just want more power. Im looking at helping MPG and get more power but not so much i need to build my engine up at this time. do plan on doing it in the future when i have the money.

until you have more air the 150's will be no good on your stock turbo

sleepycummins 02-10-2013 12:33 AM

these trucks should have come from the factory with 7x.010s (150hp)

relse11 02-10-2013 10:03 AM

i have a dual 4inch exhaust and cool air intake. What else would i need?

1st_gen_puller 02-10-2013 12:53 PM

a turbo.. you will have a meltdown with 150's.. do the fass/airdog 150, and clutch first.. and headstuds.. those are your priorities.. then save the cash to do your turbo and injector upgrades at the same time..

Our site sponsors offer some great injectors. Take a look at what they offer and see if some of them catch your eye. Also there are some options as far as full body injectors or nozzles. Nozzles can be a very good option but require some extra work replacing the nozzles and getting them set at the correct POP pressure.

jkidd 02-11-2013 09:43 AM

Our performance bosch injectors are flow matched. We also have aftermarket without a core charge.

well let me rephrase.lol it puts alot of stress on your turbo. if you tow anything it will suck watching pyro and eng temps constantly. everything is hotter and is just generally not good..im running a stocker now with 200k plus miles on it with 125s and drag comp. only temporary but istill dont like it.

jkidd 02-12-2013 01:24 PM

If you do not switch turbos to a larger size you are leaving a lot of HP on the table. back pressure, not enough air, poor efficiency of the turbo etc.

150s and the box on timing is how these trucks should have came from the factory... towing 15klbs it never went over 1150, And that's trough Appalachia.(then again i didn't cheap out on injectors either) (Stay away from your cpp,edge,etc.. if you want to leave nothing on the table. They are ok if you dont mind the smoke and high egts.) Quality products is how you make it work.

And there is no added stress on the turbo if you keep it around 35lbs...
