Usually winter fuel is good to about -20. Could of been bad fuel. My truck sat in -5 to 10 degree weather for 2 weeks unpluged. I started it when it was about 5 degrees out and I did one cycle of the grids and it stumbled for a sec then caught and ran perfect. Im not running a fuel heater either.

it doesn't surprise me that he is running into gelling issues... here in Maine our winter fuel is USUALLY very good... sometimes not so much. Last year I went to NJ and filled my farm tank with what I assumed would be winter fuel in December. I filled my truck with that fuel the next morning up in Maine and it was sludge. I don't trust winter fuel in areas that only occasionally see *real* winter weather.

....and I did get my gas in NJ too. I'm going to start adding a little extra additives. That and always keep some 911 handy!
