Im not sure about that. Im pretty sure that my truck has been fixed of that issue tho. I have a seperate relay mounted next to my fuse box that runs to my fogs and behind my headlight switch is a unused square plug but there is another plug that looks exactly like it already plugged into my switch. The relays I used come with my hid's all it does it one plugs into the factory headlight plug, they other one goes to the ballasts and then one to the battery. Its all plug and play. Have you looked at the 01 fsm wiring schematics?
