Im planning on putting HIDs in my 1998 24v Cummins. I'm having trouble figuring out what I need to order. Do I need any adaptor harnesses and what not. Any insight is helpful. Thanks

there is a store on ebay that makes a pretty awesome for dirt cheap. the name of the maker is Xentec. the whole kit is plug and play with the bulbs and they come with a year warranty. i have had them on my jeep diesel for almost 4 years now. i would recommend going with a 5000k-6000k lamp. i have the 6000k in my jeep and they look awesome, its a bright white light with a hint of blue in it. now the only thing you need to do that i didnt is get a what i think they call voltage surpressors for them, that way when your grid heater is cycling it doesnt knock the voltage down which will cause the ballast to shut down and turn your lamp off. every once in a blue moon it does it on my jeep. i have not got them for my cummins yet. and one more tip the first time you turn the HID lamps make sure you leave them on for a minimum of 15 minutes, this ensures that the lamp burns in to give you the longest lamp life possible.
