Where to go next with my truck?
3 Attachment(s)
Here's my new to me 99 24v. Mods listed in signature. Where should I go next performance wise? This truck is my DD and I want to maintain decent fuel economy but the more power the better. Also, I plan to add tow mirrors, new head and tail lights, and a road rhino front bumper shortly. Any other recommendations?

How are your EGT's? Looks like you have the fuel to support a bigger turbo, or a second turbo.
Done head studs yet? Bet your boost it to a point where they are needed. If you don't tow a lot, electric fans will help with both power and economy. Good looking rig! |

Where is your pyro? Those numbers are way too low to be accurate.
An upgraded single is more cost efficient, but is typically lazier. Compounds are pretty much unbeatable, that's why most high HP rigs run them. I have great driveability, but still have LOTS of airflow to keep things cool. Head studs are cheap insurance to keep a guy going. |

I bet your actually 1400* or higher under WOT. With a Comp, and 150 injectors, that's A LOT of fuel for a stock turbo.
With 65 HP injectors, and a Comp, I could hit 1600* when the plug on my wastegate came out. HY35 turbo. |

Even 1250 seems a little low to me.
HX40's have weak shafts. With head studs, I would suggest a HX35/40 instead of a HX40. I've heard of 55psi of boost from theses turbos. Could get you into the 425-450hp range. |
