upper and lower ball joints torque.

What do you torque the upper and lower ball joints too on a dana 60?

Is this for the '96? Its going to change with the year of your truck. 2 or 4wd?

I'm assuming that it is 4wd since it's a dana 60. All years 4wd will be the same. First torque lower to 35ftlbs then upper to 70ftlbs then go back to lower and tighten to 150ftlbs.

All 1st and 2nd gens anyway.

Pretty good assumption

Its on a 99. I probably tighten them more than that. The spindels were stiff to to turn by hand. I tried to loosen them but it didn't make a difference.

Do you mean rotating the wheel or turning the steering knuckle. Probably about time to replace the hub/bearing assembly. The axle nut should be torqued to 175ftlbs.

If i tried turning the just the knuckle bolted by hand with no hub, steering or anything attached to it. I just put a driver hub on it this weekend and passenger is newer.
