The studs are too short on the aftermarket mirrors. I took the studs from the original mirrors they are longer,can't beleive they would make them too short & they know it!< put them in the new mirrors bolted up just fine.(towing mirrors)

my studs were long enough on mine.. my stop mirrors were like an inch long studs.. the towing mirror studs were 2.5 inches long. it was long enough after i realized that the wire bracket was hitting the rubber bushing...
