I had a friend of mine tell me it's not cold enough yet .... but it used to come on with all the other lights and then go off as the others did.... any ideas ???:argh::argh:https://www.dieselbombers.com/images/smilies/dash2.gif

wait to start light not coming on

I'm having the same problem. I cracked a #2 fuel injector nozzle in May 2012 and the "wait to start" light came on as a warning light. Come to find out it is not just for your block heater, but part of your fuel delivery system in a 2006 Dodge Cummins. Reads the pressure and temp, as such. When the injector started starving for fuel, the pigtail, warning "wait to start light" went off. Funny thing is ...since then I haven't noticed it come on with my panel lights at start up at warm temperatures. It just got cold here and it should have come on with the block heater at first cold. The next day it came on with the cold weather along with the block heater. Not sure how to check it. I read somewhere that it could be related to the battery temperature sensor and engine temperature sensor disagreement. Maybe ECM. I just had a flash / re-program not to long ago. I'm having some major A/C problems that seem to be related to some electrical switches, as well. Not sure if it is the same beast.
