Heat Exchanger
I have no idea on this one, blew a line 2 years ago, replaced it with OEM parts. Hauling around 3 tons running 70, went to pass a slowmo and thought I heard a popping noise. Lost no speed and MPG's stayed around 17, got home and found that the same transmission cooling line going into the heat exchanger(Thats what I've been calling it) had a slow leak while the engine is running. I am thinking that this thing is clogged not letting fluid to go thru, any help on how to clean it out would help out and can this part be replaced with out giving up my first born. thanks yall

can you take it out and use tranny cooler line cleaner known as kooler something not to sure then using some air to push it out thats how we clean tranny coolers out at the shop.

You could remove it completely. Most guys running compounds don't have them, as it has to be removed to make room for the bottom turbo.

Yea man get rid of it. RAW talked me through bypassing it when I put my twins on. No problems. Thanks RAW:rocking:
