Problems in the morning

Every morning or even once my
Truck has sat for 4 or 5 hours once I start it up an go to take off my truck will not rev over 2k rpms it will not do anything when I hit the gas if I floor it the truck will shift all funny and sort of take off then struggle to shift then finally does and the gas doesn't do much after that same thing over and over for about a good 5 or 10 minutes depending of the temp outside once it's up to temp everything is fine shifts great runs like a champ. My only explanation would be the vp44 is cold and isn't working to well till its warm or something. I'm not sure my fuel psi stays at normal psi as always when this happens too 18 idle

No check engine light but I do that that companion code when I do the key cycle.

You will need to get a scanner, or at least a code reader. There must be something else in there the dash isn't showing.

Can a parts store read those or will I need to buy one. Any clue why it would be doing this just wondering what your guess would be

Pasts store may be able to scan, if not they should have a code reader to buy. They can be as cheap as $10, and it doesn't hurt to have one in the glove box.

Does your Quad Adren have a code feature?

Typically the VP44 works less efficient when hot, but it could be a sensor issue as well.

Someone asked me about the quad before I have the pulse v2 monitor I have no clue if it has that feature and if it does I'm not are how to find it I have looked before.

I know advance auto parts will check codes for free. I think autozones do also but not sure. Never had to have my dodge checked out there because of the Smarty but I've had my girlfriend's car scanned there before for free.
