Ok so i just got this truck about four or five days ago and i took it to my shop to have it looked at today and this is what it has 100hp injectors,fass150 platium,hot rod fuel pump,indestrial injection 64mm turbo,14cm exhaust houseing, 4" intake and 4" turbo back exhaust and the trannys all ats parts,,i notice it heats up really fast like on my dash heat gauge the factory one its almost in the red i see my egt gauge goes up around 1200 for a short time but engine stays warm for awhile oh yea also got a power puck and tst powermax3,,how do i tell if this thing is set up right?can anyone give me any advice??

My truck would do that to replaced the radiator n thermostat n it runs 190 all the time n 1200 egts is pretty good

Pull the fan shroud off and pressure was the radiator first. New rads aren't cheap. Also x2 on replacing the thermostat (easiest thermostat ever!). x2 on 1200 being a fairly safe EGT.

I forgot to say thats just a short run too,,if i heald it down longer and not wide open im sure to over heat...
