Loosing fuel prime when parked on driveway

Howdy again men! I am having an issue with not being able to start my truck untill I let my FAS pump run and build pressure for about 15 or 20 seconds when the truck has been parked on my driveway for a few days(my driveway has a pretty good incline). It never did it on flat ground untill a few days ago but I think it had been sitting for longer than that that time. I was thinking there may have been a bad check valve somewhere in the fuel system and the angle of the truck was letting the fuel drain back to the tank or something. But that would mean air is getting in and I doubt that. Does anybody have ideas.
Thanks
Whitey

99% of the time this is caused from the banjo bolt on the back of the head being loose, and allowing air into the system. Mine did the same until I tightened it up.

Could also be a leak in the fuel line somewhere sometimes they let air in without leaking fuel out, :c:

I had the same problem and mine ended up being a fuel leak/air getting in the line! fixed the leak and starts like a dream now!:tu:

i had the same problem i had to change the fuel return banjo bolt on the injection pump the little ball in it can stick open and the fuel will drain out of the injection pump down the return line to the tank
